What to Expect: 

 

At Nestlé Canada, we are looking for a Supply Planning Systems Specialist to play a key role in optimizing the digital ecosystem that supports our supply planning processes.

This position sits within our Integrated Planning team and focuses on leading and enhancing planning tools, data integrity, and analytics capabilities to enable strong business performance.

You will partner closely with Supply Chain, IT, and multi-functional partners to ensure our systems and data support accurate decision-making and operational efficiency. Note: This position is an existing vacancy.

 

A day in the life of a Supply Planning Systems Specialist :

 

Digital Tools Management & Optimization

 

•    Serve as a subject matter expert for supply planning systems and tools
•    Ensure seamless operation of planning applications and resolve system issues proactively
•    Drive implementation and stabilization of new digital solutions to improve processes
•    Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing
•    Manage enhancements and continuous improvements to system functionality
•    Monitor system health and data processes, ensuring timely issue resolution

 

Data & Performance Analytics

 

•    Develop dashboards and reporting tools tracking key supply planning KPIs (e.g., inventory, working capital, service levels)
•    Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
•    Standardize reporting and improve visibility of supply performance metrics
•    Support data architecture integrity and accessibility across planning systems

 

Stakeholder Engagement

 

•    Collaborate with supply planners, demand teams, IT, and business stakeholders
•    Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data usability and solutions

 

Continuous Improvement & Capability Building

 

•    Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
•    Support training and adoption of new tools across the planning community
•    Stay current on supply chain analytics and digital trends


Role Requirements

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
•    3–5 years of experience in supply chain, demand/supply planning, or analytics
•    Experience working across end-to-end supply chain processes. 
•    Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP, OMP)
•    Experience with APO is an asset
•    Strong data and analytics capabilities (SQL, Python, or similar)
•    Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
•    Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to translate data into business insights
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $85,000 – $95,000
