Our proposition

 

Within our Research an Development entity (R&D), and hierarchically attached to the Research Specialist, you contribute to the  improvement of the technical tools of Coffee & Cocoa the department, in order to better produce new coffee varieties.
A benevolent management and a complete onboarding program will be organized by your manager, allowing you to evolve in a  pleasant environment. In addition, you will benefit from career opportunities and support towards employment with the Nestlé Needs YOUth program. 

Your daily missions

 

  • Assist the team in pre-production activities such as accelerating the coffee plant flowering.
  • Evaluate the crossing abilities with other coffee species, such as Arabica.
  • Reduce the coffee flowering cycles to have a faster access to  the reproduction.
  • Phenotype and propose an application for plants resulting from chromosome doubling treatments and evaluate a possible application for breeding.

 

Your assets to succeed :

 

  • You are preparing a Master degree in Plants Science and/or Horticulture. 
  • You speak a fluent English.
  • You have a technical knowledge in horiticulture and plant physiology.
  • You are known for your team spirit and analytical skills, and you are results oriented.
