Join our team in the position of:

 

Project Engineer (m/f)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage investment projects within the factory, focusing primarily on the production area. This includes overseeing technology improvements and modifications to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage the progress and supervise execution of contractor's works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Develop a safety culture on the construction site, promoting and enforcing safety practices and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations and standards.
  • Preparation of budget proposals and credit requests, along with the management and control of the investment budget using Nestlé methodology and tools. This includes monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Conducting tenders and request for quotations: creating technical specifications, obtaining offers and quotations, consulting contracts and agreements with subcontractors.
  • Comply with health and safety rules, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other Nestlé Standards to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the factory to resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the project.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other Nestlé factories, TAP, CO-ENG: standardizing technical solutions and improvements.

Our expectations:

  • A higher degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical field and project management.
  • Well-established knowledge in the areas of mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and automation.
  • Basic knowledge of local regulations and standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and drawings.
  • Experience in managing contractors.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing project requirements.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High personal culture.
  • Very good organization of own work, ability to set priorities.
  • Fluent English.
