The Project Engineer will support the delivery of industrial construction and infrastructure projects, including building extensions, utilities, roads, parking areas, external infrastructure, and production facility upgrades.

 

The Project Engineer will join a six-person project team responsible for delivering industrial construction and infrastructure projects within Nestlé Purina's manufacturing facility. The role combines project coordination, contractor supervision, and technical support throughout all project phases, from concept and design to execution and commissioning. This position offers an excellent opportunity for engineers with 2-5 years of experience who are looking to develop their project management skills in a dynamic industrial environment.

2-5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering projects

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, GMP, and other operational systems applicable in the plant
  • Developing a strong safety culture during the execution of works
  • Supervision of construction and installation works within the plant and adjacent external areas
  • Managing the progress and performance of subcontractors’ works, including daily supervision of their safety and work quality
  • Supporting project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution activities
  • Coordinating project stakeholders, including designers, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
  • Monitoring project milestones, costs, and risks
  • Preparing technical specifications
  • Participating in the supplier selection process
  • Ensuring proper communication and close cooperation with factory teams
  • Supervising the progress, distribution, and verification of documentation

 

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in an engineering field, preferably in construction or sanitary/electrical installations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction projects, preferably in the modernization of industrial facilities, especially in the food industry
  • Knowledge of construction regulations and quality standards will be an advantage
  • Strong teamwork abilities and good communication skills
  • Good command of English (minimum B2)
