Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring that all relevant regulation, policies, standards and guidelines, as expressed by Legislation or Internal Instructions, are in compliance across the allocated area of responsibility. Additionally, provides specialist support to the allocated area of specialization and may be involved in ad hoc project work that they have responsibility for in addition to normal activities.

 

A day in the life of...

  • Coordinate the implementation of site Safety, Health, Environment strategies to deliver compliance and continuous improvement.  
  • Champion compliance with company principles, policies and requirements related to Safety, Halth, Environment. 
  • Support the implementation of specific tools & initiatives to increase awareness and capability in Safety, Health, Environment and to achieve relevant objectives.
  • Engage all employees in Safety, Health, Environment mindset
  • Verify that all life cycle assessment and environment-related product communication confirms with group standards.

 
What will make you successful

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Operational experience in managing Safety, Health & Environment issues at a facility/local level.
  • Practical experience of local S&H priorities, eg driving safety, machinery safety, ergonomics, health, contractor management, process safety.
  • Practical experience of local environmental priorities, eg management of energy/carbon, water and waste.
  • Implementation of improvements through influencing others.
  • Working in, and leading, cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills.
  • Fluency in Greek & English.
