Position Summary
As a Connectivity Intern, you will support the Nestlé Deep Tech Center (DTC) in accelerating the development of our next‑generation Cloud‑to‑Cloud Connectivity ecosystem by contributing to architecture mapping, integration design, and data‑exchange standards. This role also offers a unique opportunity to work hands‑on with cutting‑edge DeepTech initiatives, allowing you to build expertise in cloud architectures, API design, and multi‑platform data integration while collaborating with experts across multiple Nestlé businesses.
The role reports directly to the Connectivity & Electronics Manager, in the group New System and Connectivity.
A Day in the Life of a Connectivity Intern
- Supporting cloud architecture mapping activities across multiple Nestlé businesses and platforms
- Supporting the definition of a unified data connectivity strategy and target architecture for future global integrations
- Coordinating with engineers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to align cloud‑to‑cloud data flow requirements
- Coordinating technical documentation, API specifications, and schema updates across teams
- Helping design and validate Cloud‑to‑Cloud APIs and event‑based communication flows
- Helping prepare PoCs, run small tests, and gather feedback to improve integration, reliability and scalability
- Participating in technical reviews, workshops, and project follow‑ups to ensure alignment with Deep Tech objectives
- Contributing to knowledge‑building by documenting findings, best practices, and integration guidelines
What will make you successful
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity or first exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), distributed architectures, or integration patterns
- Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, REST, event-driven systems, or messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka etc.)
- Interest in IoT, connectivity, digital ecosystems, and cloud engineering
- Exposure to OpenAPI or AsyncAPI specifications
- Understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, OIDC)
- Experience with Postman, GitHub, or cloud development tools
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging DeepTech topics
- Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving
- Proactive, collaborative team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in an agile, fast-moving environment
- Good command of English (spoken and written), french is a plus
