As a Food & Beverage Systems Innovation Specialist, you will lead and coordinate all innovation phases of new projects, starting from idea generation, design and prototyping of the solution, and test and learn in fast-paced mode with consumers. In this position, you will generate
A Day in the Life of a Food & Beverage Systems Innovation Specialist
- Scout innovation ideas for systems, including machines, products, and services across internal network and external sources through Competition & Technological watch.
- Generate, grow, and qualify ideas with the collaboration of internal and external partners, iterate on winning ideas and deliver innovative, consumer centric solutions.
- Translate innovative ideas into viable system concepts.
- Design and create proof of concept prototypes and present them to senior stakeholders of Nestlé.
- Build strong technical knowledge on subject matter; connect internally and externally with relevant science & technology partners.
- Validate or refine the business opportunity with Consumers and/or Customers thanks to a test & learn approach.
- Create and manage external technical partnerships and ensure technical competitive advantage.
What will make you successful
- University’s degree or equivalent (BSc, MSc, PhD) in a technical field (Mechanics, Microengineering, Mechatronics).
- Proven experience in creation and development of innovation projects in R&D environment.
- Excellent technical hands-on approach and affinity for operational work with good problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurship thinking, agile mindset, and team spirit are core values in your approach.
- Proven communication skills and confidence in presenting to steering committees and convincing stakeholders.
- Business and objective driven – Strong focus on business needs, objectives and business results.
- Fluent in English.
