Position Summary
As a Food Chemistry Intern, you will help evaluate new enzyme options used in Infant Cereals processing. In this role, you will explore how nutrition needs are evolving, how people actually eat today, and what the latest science and competitor products suggest. You will turn those insights into clear ideas that can strengthen the nutritional value of our products. You will work hands-on in the lab and in small-scale production trials, transforming observations into evidence and practical recommendations. This internship offers a meaningful learning experience with real impact.

A Day in the Life of a Food Chemistry Intern
- Evaluate alternative enzymes for Infant Cereals processing
- Search scientific literature to build clear, testable hypotheses
- Run lab experiments to measure enzyme activity before and after processing
- Conduct small-scale production trials to confirm lab findings
- Document results and present clear learnings to internal stakeholders
What will make you successful
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
- First lab experience (academic projects or internships) is an asset.
- Strong interest in hands-on laboratory work and food chemistry.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team.
- Autonomous and structured approach, with a proactive attitude to solving problems.
- Good command of MS Office, especially Excel, to organize and interpret results.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken); basic French is a plus.
