Position Summary
As Beverage Systems Technical Manager for the Nestlé Professional OOH business, you will be part of the Nestlé Professional Research & Development Community. You will drive the introduction of new coffee machines for professional use in offices and on-the-go locations in line with the Commercial and R&D strategy. To increase the competitivity of our beverage dispenser portfolio, you will identify innovative products, lead development and continuous improvement projects and ensure rollout to markets with technical competence, training and issue resolution.

A Day in the Life of a Beverage Systems Technical Manager
- In the area of innovation, you will ensure seamless handshake with R&D and commercial teams, suppliers and other resources for successful introduction and deployment of new beverage solutions
- Through your leadership style, you will coach and engage the systems technical expert team directly reporting to you
- You will lead projects and the respective teams assigned to them
- IoT connectivity and the digital consumer experience becoming ever more important, your ideas will be key to define new ways of interacting with beverage dispensers
- You will provide expert advice to markets regarding selection of the right equipment and support them during its introduction
- Planning and providing technical training and making adequate technical documentation available will be part of your role
- You will manage key supplier relationships and cooperate with procurement teams
- Capturing continuous improvement needs, scouting for renovation opportunities and industrializing them in a timely manner will be another exciting part of your role
- To resolve technical issues escalated by markets you will coordinate internal and external resources
- You will not only leverage resources and competencies available across the R&D network including the System Technology Center but also drive the further development of people and their business specific skills
What will make you successful
- Degree in a technical field (mechanics, electronics, etc)
- Experience in leading and motivating people
- Strong project management skills with cross-functional team management
- Understand how to drive innovation and renovation of beverage systems
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant technical fields such as research & development and after sales service
- Understand Nestlé Professional route to market
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
