Position Summary
The Nestlé System Technology Centre (NSTC) in Orbe is Nestlé’s leading R&D centre for the design, development and deployment of Nestlé delivery systems, offering expertise in machines, packaging and products for in-home and out-of-home.
As a Packaging Intern, you will provide support for the Nescafé Dolce Gusto (NDG) system, which is aimed at helping Nestlé achieve its sustainability goals in terms of greenhouse gas emissions reduction and virgin plastic usage.

A Day in the Life of a Packaging Intern
- Assist in the development of improved versions of our NDG capsules
- Help accelerate the development process
- Assist the project manager in various activities, such as laboratory work and pilot line trials
- Possible opportunities to travel to partners locations or factories in Europe for testing purposes
What will make you successful
- Student or fresh graduate in a Master’s Degree in Materials Science, Packaging, or related fields
- Previous experience in an R&D department is a plus
- Good knowledge in thermoforming, plastics industry, and sealing technology
- Attention to details and system thinking
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, agile and independent
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
