The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discovers, develops and deploys coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provides new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide.

Position Summary
We are looking for a Packaging Intern to join our team. This role involves coordinating technical and analytical activities related to packaging development. You will support key packaging projects aimed at helping Nestlé achieve its sustainability goals, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing virgin plastic usage. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with creative thinking in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

A Day in the Life of a Packaging Intern
- Act as the first point of contact for all technical and analytical-related activities
- Coordinate project managers' requests in relation with packaging protocols and tests
- Support in laboratory work and pilot line trials gaining hands-on skills
- Assist in developing new materials for packaging projects
- Analyze data to help with the optimization of packaging
- Contribute to launching improved versions of our packaging working in contact with various teams
What will make you successful
- Student or fresh graduate in a Master’s Degree in Materials Science, Packaging, or related fields
- Demonstrate proactivity, agility, independence, and a service-oriented approach
- Exhibit adaptability and the ability to build relationships within a team
- Possess good communication skills and a strong awareness of sustainability
- Fluent in English, with basic knowledge of French
