Position Summary  

 

The Nestlé System Technology Centre (NSTC) in Orbe is Nestlé’s leading R&D center for the design, development and deployment of Nestlé delivery systems, offering expertise in machines, packaging and products for in-home and out-of-home.

As a Quality analyst Intern you will study the way life cycle tests (LCT) data are collected to develop and deliver a proposal to standardize and facilitate their capture, including real time access and evolution comparison along projects development phases (test series). In addition, you will review our last machine production data from our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and observe the evolution since start of production to evaluate and prepare a potential technical modification.


A Day in the Life of a Quality Intern 

 

  • Studying the dedicated Standard of process (SOP)
  • Participating in and follow up of LCT supervised by system developer
  • Evaluate the different existing collections of LCT data and results (cross systems)
  • Establishment of data reporting system, (e.g. LCT report redaction, data collection, comparisons of test series, listing of potential issues, …)
  • Study and develop a reporting solution proposal
  • Analyze and propose improvement of existing brewing unit compensation system


What will make you successful

 

  • Recent graduates or currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mechanic, IT (database) or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities to analyze and organize data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and interest in working with data visualization applications (e.g. Power BI)
  • Good knowledge of standard Microsoft applications (outlook, word, excel)
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Organized and efficient mindset
  • Fluent in English, French is an asset
