The Nestlé Product Technology Center for Coffee is a global center of expertise for coffee and beverage innovation. Our teams in Konolfingen, Orbe, Singapore and Marysville lead coffee and beverage research and development for Nestlé markets worldwide.
As a R&D Intern in Food Physics, Materials Science and Coffee Innovation , your mission is to help implement inline measurement technology and explore how coffee-processing parameters influence freeze-dried coffee. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with project, science, laboratory, pilot plant and technical workshop teams. How you’ll make an impact as a R&D Intern in Food Physics, Materials Science and Coffee Innovation
- Collaborating with project, science, laboratory, pilot plant and technical workshop teams to advance coffee innovation
- Coordinating the installation and integration of measurement probes on an existing coffee production line
- Operating specialized measurement equipment and data acquisition systems to generate reliable insights
- Designing and delivering a structured experimental plan to evaluate the effects of coffee-processing parameters
- Analysing product and process data, drawing clear conclusions and presenting recommendations to the wider project team
What will make you successful
- Current student or fresh graduate in chemical engineering, food science, materials science or a related field
- Being a team player, curious, proactive and ready to learn how to operate specialized equipment safely and confidently
- Having strong planning, analytical and communication skills to turn complex data into clear conclusions
- Communicating fluently in English; knowledge of French is an advantage
- Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value.
