Position Summary

As a Nutrition Intern, you will work on the new nutrition value proposition for Infant and Children products. You will have to understand the nutritional needs, the current diet reality, the latest nutrition science and the competitive landscape in order to tackle challenges to translate into a nutritional competitive advantage.

A Day in the Life of an R&D Master Trainee
- Perform a state of the art research collecting available data from literature and internal data (e.g. latest nutrition science, latest dietary guidelines..)
- Synthesize scientific writing into internal communication used to strengthen project initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional team activities to align innovation and renovation projects with infant nutrition standards and governing regulations
- Conduct nutritional competitive analyses to build knowledge on nutritional profiles of products currently on market
- Critically examine nutrition recommendations from global public health authorities to develop and define nutrition thresholds
- Contribute to translation of findings of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, population needs, nutrition trends into innovations & renovations (I/R)
- Contribute to the development of nutrition concepts, products' nutritional targets or health claims to support nutrition communication
What will make you successful
- Master’s in Nutrition Science or Master’s degree with a Nutrition specialty
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, agile and independent
- It would be an advantage (but not essential) if the candidate has a background in food composition and/or early childhood feeding.
- Excellent team player in a multi-functional environment
- Self-starter, able to take initiative
- Strong scientific writing skills
- Experienced in using Excel functions to create interactive worksheets
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
