As a Technology Development Intern at Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee, your mission is to contribute to the development and optimization of innovative manufacturing technologies for powder creamers and coffee mixes. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with technology specialists, project team members and stakeholders across NPTC Coffee. This is your opportunity to make an impact while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to kick-start your career.
How you’ll make an impact as a Technology Development Intern
- Conduct internal and external literature reviews and assess the competitive landscape to identify relevant technologies and development opportunities.
- Develop innovative solutions for powder creamers and coffee mixes based on an agreed project scope.
- Plan and execute laboratory and bench-scale activities and trials, gaining hands-on experience in technology development.
- Prepare prototypes and assess the nutritional, processing and cost impact of the solutions developed.
- Present your results to the team and key stakeholders while building an effective network across project teams and NPTC Coffee.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress or completed in Science and Technology, preferably Food Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted professional relationships.
- Effective networking and multidisciplinary teamwork skills, combined with an innovative and proactive mindset.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value.
