Position Summary

 

The Nutrition Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is part of the Nestlé Group. Our mission is to nurture a Healthier Generation. We achieve this by leading the way in research and development of science proven

In this position, you will ensure quality and food safety by design by providing scientific and/or technical guidance to support projects in delivering - right first time - flawless, innovative and competitive
products/processes, in response to business and consumer needs.
This position is based in our Nestlé Development Unit (NDU) located in Orbe, where we develop new products and processes for Infant Cereal foods and  Healthy Snacks.

A day in the life of...

• Provide support to projects assigned, ensuring quality and food safety by design since the early stages of the development;
• Ensure on-time delivery of key information/documents;
• Provide accurate and on-time support to operations with effective (quality, cost and on-time) and sustainable solutions;
• Give operational support to customers, assistance in industrialization start-ups, follow-up product launches
• Develop and/or update standards and guidelines based on business priorities, using latest knowledge, methods, standards, trends and ensure roll out to factories.

What will make you successful

 

•    Degree level in a related field (Food Technology; Engineering; Manufacturing; Microbiology)
•    Proven QA experience regarding safety and hygiene requirements, Infant Food knowledge is a plus
•    Minimum 3 years of R&D/Operations/Factory experience in Extruded products or Infant Food production
•    Fluent in English - Other languages would be an advantage
