Nestlé Burkina is currently looking for a National Sales Manager to design and formulate plans and strategies for the achievement of the company’s sales objectives by category, channel and customer, through effective management of the sales force and the trade network.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic direction/input for development of Channel, Customer/Distributor and Field sales strategies in line with business requirements (MBS and Operational plan).
  • Accountable and responsible to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets/KPIs. Challenges the sales organization to ensure its effectiveness and meet evolution of business requirements, embrace the digital Sales transformation agenda to support the necessary behavioral change to leverage on digitalization across the region.
  • Always ensure that the members of the sales force render to all direct customers full range of customer support services superior to that of competition and in such manner that will lead to customer satisfaction, motivation, business growth and building up of goodwill for the company with the customers. 
  • Ensure effective liaison with Category, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to manage trade off and drive for overall objectives achievement.                        
  • Develop and Communicate Key Priorities for the sales organization (Channel, Shopper, Distributor/ Customer, business development, distribution penetration, visibility etc).                                          
  • Ensure development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of sales personnel as well as direct reports.                                                        

 

 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Strong experience in Sales or Marketing.
  • FMCG Experience is a must
  • Has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results.
  • Multi-category market management experience is an added advantage.
  • Great Selling & Negotiation Skills
  • Great Distributer and Field Management Skills
  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Stakeholder Management (Internally & Externally)
