As a Key Account Manager, you will drive drive continual growth and ensure achievement of the Modern Trade Key Accounts channel’s sales and profit objectives through effective sales management and accounts development. Develop Petcare category with customers, develop account and manage the account with the support of Sales Division Key Account team to deliver plans and ensure execution,  and develop key account team capability for 5Ps execution.  

A day in the life of...

  • Identify distribution and growth opportunities for the channel’s range of products
  • Develop channel strategy through ICP with the support from Trade Marketing team and ensure high quality and timely execution to deliver results.
  • Work closely with the National Key Account team ( Sales Division) to deliver sales growth, channel plan and ensure execution. 
  • Work with the Regional Field Sales Team in developing and implementing trade channel / account plans in support of the distribution and trade sales strategies.
  • Lead and manage Key account executive, Sales Reps and Merchandisers to deliver 5Ps execution. 
  • Monitor the monthly sales performance of all assigned key accounts to ensure in-market sales objectives are achieved. Areas of coverage will be nationwide.
  • Submit a monthly report to the immediate supervisor within the stipulated timelines, covering areas on trade sales performance, expenses, field trips, issues and opportunity situation analysis, competition and plan of action.
  • Manage and control all trade-related expenses within the budget allocated.

What will make you successful

  • Preferably more than 4+ years experience in Sales or Trade Marketing ( preferably with min 1-2 years of Key account management). 
  • Understand all key sales functions.
  • Had demonstrated success in various sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.                                                                                      
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional team.
