The Assistant eCommerce Operations Manager drives the commercial performance and daytoday operational excellence of Nespresso’s B2C/B2B eCommerce platforms and Marketplace Official Stores. This role identifies growth opportunities, ensures flawless campaign execution, and enhances customer experience to achieve key KPIs including revenue, conversion, and new member acquisition.

 

What will be your key responsibilities..

  • Oversee daily eCommerce operations across B2C, B2B, mobile app, and Marketplace stores to ensure a seamless, conversionoptimized customer journey and consistent brand experience.
  • Monitor site and revenue performance using GA4 and Power BI, acting quickly on issues across traffic, funnel metrics, bounce rates, and daily sales vs. targets.
  • Lead endtoend commercial campaign management on both D2C and Marketplace channels—planning, requirements gathering, QA, setup, and reporting—while collaborating closely with platform KAMs and Social Sellers.
  • Ensure quality assurance across all B2B, B2C, and Marketplace platforms, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and an optimal customer experience.
  • Manage marketplace operations, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and strong commercial readiness.
  • Recommend promotional plans aligned to business objectives and campaign calendars.
  • Support postcampaign reviews, identifying insights, operational gaps, and future improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the eCommerce project portfolio, coordinating with webmasters and HQ to deliver timely setups, testing, launches, and postmortems.
  • Serve as the primary escalation owner for onsite issues, coordinating swift resolution with internal teams, regional/HQ tech stakeholders, and external partners
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to scope, plan, and execute initiatives with online impact, ensuring each project drives traffic growth, stronger engagement, higher addtocart rates, improved conversion, and incremental revenue.
  • Accelerate key enablers that reduce friction and enhance the endtoend customer journey—for example, improving upsell pathways, optimizing checkout flows, and proposing new payment methods.         

                                   

                             

What your experience should include..

  • Bachelor’s degree with more than 4–6 years in eCommerce operations, digital marketing, or commercial management.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, consumer electronics, or marketplacedriven industries.
  • Comfortable working in matrix organizations with regional/HQ structures.
  • Competence with analytical tools like GA4, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of online acquisition channels and their impact on eCommerce performance.
  • Strong handson experience on eCommerce platform management, including content management, merchandising, A/B testing, and personalization.
  • Strong business acumen, with a bility to understand P&L drivers, promo mechanics, and revenue levers.
  • Experience contributing to sales forecasts, target tracking, and campaign ROI analysis.
  • Experience in planning and executing groupbuy campaigns and livestream activities on eCommerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Highly organised and structured, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong communication experience managing (HQ counterparts, Regional teams, Agency partners, Marketplace reps..)
  • Exposure to working with social sellers, marketplace teams, and external partners.
  • Skilled at aligning and influencing multiple stakeholders toward campaign or project goals, even without direct reporting lines.
