We are looking for a Corporate Communication Manager to develop and implement an effective corporate communications strategy and initiatives as well as manage the internal and external communications with key stakeholders with the overall objective of enhancing the company’s reputation.

 

A day in the life of Corporate Communication Manager...

  • Drive Nestlé Malaysia’s corporate narrative and positioning, brand identity, and corporate campaigns in close collaboration with the leadership team and key stakeholders.
  • Create and execute effective internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged while promoting open dialogue and collaboration across the organisation, in collaboration with relevant functions. E.g. Human Resources, etc.
  • Oversee and manage media relations by creating strong partnerships and raising brand awareness in key areas, including Nutrition, Health, and Wellness (NHW), Sustainability, and Creating Shared Value (CSV).
  • Collaborate with the Head of Communications to execute integrated corporate communication strategies, with a strong emphasis on NHW and CSV goals.
  • Assist the Head of Communications in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies through various corporate materials to promote and safeguard Nestlé’s reputation and integrity in the marketplace utilising strong storytelling and writing skills.
  • Strategise and manage all digital corporate platforms, ensuring they remain dynamic and informative resources for both employees and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert communications advice and guidance to management and other functions, ensuring alignment with corporate communication objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication channels and strategies are in place, optimising team efforts across social media and other platforms to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Provide support as needed during crises to ensure and uphold positive visibility with top-tier industry media, assisting the Group Corporate Communications and Crisis Communication functions.

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field with at least 8+ years’ experience.
  • Experience in corporate communications. branding, marketing, media and crisis management.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Innovative approach to developing campaigns, project manage and solving problems.
  • Good people management skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
