We are looking for a Group Channel Manager to drive development of channel strategies to win by defining the channel picture of success and lead the development of complete channel solutions that beGTer meet shopper & customer needs..

 

A day in the life of a Customer Manager

  • Accountable & Responsible for developing channel prioritisation and category growth strategy for all National Channels (WM & EM)
  • Accountable and Responsible to develop and integrate into the commercial planning processes the element of the Channel wheel and ultimately publish a picture of success for the Category in the Channel, enabling its implementation, continuous review and optimization.
  • Accountable and Responsible for managing Channel Managers to deliver individual channel MBS, identify priority channels for each Category and work with Category Development Managers to develop tailored Category Channel plans in line with overall market strategies.
  • Accountable to drive the development of Channel ICP. Consolidation of all the ICPs by channel by category working with the category team and the sales team.
  • Accountable and Responsible for recommending channel funds allocation & promotional guidelines based on shopper/retailer understanding and current market knowledge. Ensure all promotional investment is properly reviewed and evaluated.
  • Accountable and Responsible for development of new channels for the business. Identifying and communicating latest developments, trends, initiatives and competitive actions within the channel, assessing implications/opportunities for Nestle categories and brands for new channels.
  • Responsible to support the I2L NPD Process by contirbuting to build commercially aligned business cases and key initiatives that address the opportunity for future channel growth, leveraging our categories strategies.
  • Responsible for prioritizing multi category and regional opportunities for the business. Working closely with the channel team, category team and sales team to prioritize key specific activities.
  • Responsible to support the identification of organisational capabilities required to successfully execute the Channel plan and develop the compelling channel category selling story and partner sales in delivering it to the Customer
  • Accountable for collaborating with Category team in driving SRM that fulfills retailer, shopper and consumer expectations.
  • Responsible for developing and coaching direct reports, ensuring PE/PDG discussions are conducted on time. Make recommendations for inclusion in talent programmes and succession plans as appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.

 

                 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • With 5 (for MM2) -10 (for MM1) years experience in Trade Marketing or Sales.
  • Demonstrable record of success in a customer (not limited to Key Accounts) facing role. Understands customers and the selling process.
  • Successfully led a team of direct reports.
