Position Summary

As a Senior B2C Marketing Executive, you are needed to implement the marketing strategy in physical and online retail and trade channels, maximize Nespresso retail and trade visibility, improve the consumer retail experience (in line with the Consumer experience strategy), and increase consumer acquisition. You are to also  support the B2C Marketing Manager in the daily marketing activities and key projects, such as roadshows and activations in boutique & events and ensure high quality and prompt execution of all marketing activities, communications and campaigns.

 

A day in the life of a Senior B2C Marketing Executive

 

Retail and Trade Marketing Plan implementations

  • Plan, coordinate and execute comprehensive marketing plans for Retail and Trade channels, aligning with overall B2C marketing strategies.
  • Supporting the B2C Marketing Manager in executing campaign launches across Nespresso-owned and partner online & offline channels.
  • Devise and implement Visual Merchandising strategies for both permanent and temporary setups at Retail and Trade points.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and agencies to ensure the seamless execution of campaign-specific communication materials within the Retail and Trade environments.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of Retail & Trade Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) activities, including creative development, production, and installation.
  • Collaborate closely with appointed agencies to guarantee the effective implementation of campaign specific POSM materials.
  • Coordinate the evaluation and addressing Retail and Trade needs and requirements and liaise with Headquarters stakeholders as necessary for support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging retail and trade marketing practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the B2C Marketing Manager to manage budgets allocated for Boutique Decoration and Visual Merchandising within Retail and Trade points.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of budget allocations to ensure optimal utilization.

 

Project / Campaign Management

  • Work together with B2C Marketing Manager in coordinating the preparation of pre-campaign evaluations, ensuring all necessary components are in place for a seamless launch.
  • Oversee the post-campaign evaluation process collaborating with relevant teams to gather data, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
  • Facilitate effective communication and dissemination of campaign information to various stakeholders across different departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of marketing plans across channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing team and other cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of campaign goals, timelines, and expectations.
  • Take charge of preparing internal memos for briefing sessions on campaign information, ensuring all team members are well-informed about campaign objectives, strategies, and key messages.
  • Support the B2C Marketing Manager in analyzing campaign performance, providing insights and making recommendations for future improvements.
  • Foster collaboration with the Commercial team (retail, trade, and e-Comm) to ensure alignment of activities and address post-campaign analyses for continual improvement.

 

Event Management

  • Manage the set-up of events and actively follow-up to ensure Nespresso standards are maintained throughout the event.
  • Liaise with appointed agency to lead set-up, manpower selection and material arrangement for consumer events.
  • Ensure timely follow ups and coordination on all aspects needed before and during events. 
  • Thorough and proper briefing for internal & external stakeholders of event.

 

Other day-to-day operations

  • PO Management: Ensure that PO process is properly executed in alignment with finance procedures.
  • PFME Management; Work with B2C Marketing Manager to ensure DF accuracies in monthly forecast across Retail & Trade Marketing.

 

What will make you successful

  • Education: University Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration
  • Experience working in brands from high-end luxury/premium FMCGs with owned retail network.
  • Strong marketing and communications ability with a focus on the retail environments
  • Strong analytical and organization skills with attention to details
  • Stakeholder management skills and solution-oriented, self-motivated, results-oriented
  • Passionate about coffee is a bonus.
