Position Summary

 

As part of our growing inside sales team, you'll have the opportunity to engage in daily outbound and inbound sales calls, connecting with retailers and practitioners in your assigned territory. Your mission? To not just meet, but exceed monthly sales goals by showcasing our strategic retail programs and irresistible sales promotions. With your consultative selling techniques, you'll secure prime shelf space and optimal product placement, utilizing innovative concepts like category management and brand block sets. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service will ensure overall satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships. 

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Provide sales and service support to GOL retailers and practitioners via telephone.
  • Ensure monthly sales goals are met or exceeded by effectively communicating promotions, new product launches, and the features and benefits of products, while also meeting production penetration expectations.
  • Coordinate phone trainings with retailers to educate them on the GOL product line.
  • Make 30-50 outbound calls per day.
  • Handle all customer service duties for the assigned territory, including order entry, product returns, credit requests, marketing requests, and addressing product-related questions.
  • Maintain updated customer lists, escalate MAP violations and other unauthorized activity, and track and report on daily calls and performance.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and ongoing training by recommending, creating, and/or reviewing training materials, development tools, documents, and resources, including new product scripting.
  • Attend meetings related to new processes or system upgrades, and then schedule and conduct training sessions for the Inside Sales team.
  • Take the lead on projects, system enhancements, and sales training initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Inside Sales Team in achieving their goals, including territory tracking responsibility, partnership request management, and Every Day Low Pricing tracking and accountability.

 

Experience and Education Requirements

 

  • Associates Degree or higher education is preferred 
  • Background in Natural Product industry or organic health and nutrition desirable
  • Minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities, fostering positive and effective communication

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong  time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Revenue generating skills
  • Highly self-motivated individual
  • Proficient in navigating systems

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $40,000.00 to $50,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
