Position Summary: 

We are currently looking for a highly competent Buyer based in Panama, responsible for supporting Procurement Managers to operationalize their strategy through procurement processes within the Cereals & Grains category. 

Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, your main responsibility will be to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level as required – focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools, processes, in order to maximize compliance and efficiency.

A day in a life of a Buyer – Cereals & Grains: 

•    Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Responsible Sourcing Standard, Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
•    Support the category team with the data analysis and KPIs.
•    Ensure effective contract management for the category.
•    Supporting contracts negotiations with the preparation of the relevant data.
•    Preparing and supporting negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.

What makes you successful:

•    University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance.
•    A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within Procurement.
•    Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
•    High learning speed and agility to navigate in ambiguity.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
•    Fluency in English is essential.
