Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Buyer based in Panamaresponsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities within the Global Technical Procurement Team.
Reporting directly to the Global CategoryLead, you will be responsible for conducting sourcing activitiesfor the Industrial Services Equipment spend in scope on a global level by using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Buyer for Industrial Services Equipment :
• Support the Global Category Lead in implementing the category strategy
• Manage the category spend independently with a focus on Europe and US markets.
• Execute sourcing projects to deliver expected cost reduction levels using Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies such as catalogue pricing, RFI/RFPstandardisation, aggregation, and best cost country sourcing. Knowledge on industrial gases would be a plus for the candidate.
• Work closely with Corporate Engineering functions to support Nestlé’s global sustainability commitments
• Create a competitive environment for Nestlé’s needs.
• Support general terms and conditions and contract negotiations to ensure the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
• Manage the relationship with market stakeholders to integrate the category strategy
• Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
What makes you successful:
• Honours University degree in either an engineering or a scientific subject, or in Procurement/Supply Chain.
• Solid experience in sourcing, ideally in Industrial Services.
• Strong flexibility and mental agility to work in a cross-functional environment within a highly-complex global environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals acrossa global networkDemonstrate successful use of effective category sourcing and risk management.
• Fluency in English, and if possible Spanish
