Position summary

 

We are currently looking for a highly competent GHGE Project Manager for Ingredients based in Panama, responsible for leading Nestrade ingredients group activities on GHGE and being the advisor for carbon reduction management.  

Reporting directly to the Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, driving, and accelerating sustainability and net zero roadmaps across Agricultural and Processed Ingredients.

A day in a life of a GHGE Project Manager - Ingredients:

 

  • Support on delivering Nestrade Ingredients decarbonization target.
  • Monitor and reduce cost of GHGE/MT in Ingredients
  • Identify decarbonization projects within our current supplier base in scope 1, 2 and 3.
  • Determine, track and share:
    • Different ingredients industry developments on sustainability 
    • New ingredients suppliers with high sustainability (GHG) maturity
  • Assist on project identification and implementation.
  • Uphold Primary data collection for processed and agricultural ingredients.
  • GHGE negotiation support to buying teams.
  • Process simplification and speedy deployment of GHGE reduction projects for Nestle.
  • Roadmap development to Net Zero across categories.
  • Manage audits on GHGE – Internal and External
  • Support internal stakeholders (Zones, Supply chain and procurement head) in the creation and operationalization of the responsible sourcing and climate change strategies.
  • Manage and coach virtual taskforce team members for smooth execution of responsible sourcing operations in country of origins.

 

 

What makes you successful:

 

  • University degree related to Sustainability, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
  • Subject Matter Expert on GHGE protocols and Greenhouse gas reduction projects (Scope 1, 2 and 3)
  • Strong exposure to data analytics 
  • Recognized expertise on carbon management, ethics, and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing a global strategy on climate change or sustainability.
  • Ability to identify secondary and primary data sources, engage with LCA Partners of suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
  • Fluency in English.
