Position summary 

As a Buyer for Ingredients, you will support the development and execution of the Ingredients category worldwide. Reporting to the Global Category Leader, you will join a high impact team focusing on delivering value, quality and efficiencies to Nestle operations globally. Stepping into a complex and dynamic organization, you will leverage your expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement processes to optimize spend, efficiency and compliance.

A day in the life of a Buyer for Ingredients

• Contribute to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the supplier management plan.           
• Prepare for and support negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.
• Support effective contract management
• Identify opportunities for cost and efficiency optimization, and leading global initiatives to enhance value creation.
• Uphold compliance with Nestlé's corporate business principles and procurement policies.

What makes you successful:

• Previous experience within Procurement, ideally within ingredients or similar direct materials.
• Experience in multinational environments with operational complexities.
• High learning speed and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic, multi-national organization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex, global organization.
• Previous experience using procurement solutions (e.g. ARIBA), and intermediate / advanced Excel are critical
• Proficient in English; multi-lingual abilities are considered beneficial.
