Position Summary

 

We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Procurement Manager based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for Dairy used by Nestlé worldwide.  

 

Reporting directly to the Global Category Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in the life of a Global Procurement Manager - Dairy

 

•    Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
•    Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.  
•    Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
•    Collect and analyze data to support development of Dairy sourcing strategies.  
•    Run the daily administrative tasks and ensure they are carried out in a timely and organized manner.
•    Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.

What will make you successful

 

    University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
•    Experience within a strategic sourcing role, ideally gained within dairy (other commodities, ingredients or raw materials categories can be considered)
•    Strong expertise in supplier management, ideally with exposure to the US dairy market.
•    High level analytical and project management skills .
•    Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organisation.
•    Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
•    Fluency in English. Other languages are considered an asset.
