Position Summary

 

We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Procurement Manager to be based at our global hub in Panama, who will take responsibility for managing the sourcing of technology used by Nestlé worldwide, including -  but not limited to  - Hardware, Software & Cloud services.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in the life of a Global Procurement Manager - Technology

 

•    Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate business requirements with long-term strategic category plans and outcomes in line with budgets and operations planning.
•    Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies.
•    Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
•    Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.   
•    In partnership with Supplier Relationship Management, lead the commercial relationship with strategic suppliers and ensure regular contract SLAs.
•    Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards. 
 

What will make you successful

 

•    University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain.
•    A minimum of 7 years experience within a Global Procurement Manager position– 5 specifically within IT Procurement. 
•    Exposure to international environments, ideally gained across multiple geographical markets (Americas, Europe etc)
•    Successful track record in handling global strategic negotiations. 
•    Excellent relationship and communication skills coupled with strong stakeholder management expertise
•    Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.
•    Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
•    Knowledge of SAP is considered highly beneficial
•    Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages will be an asset
