Position summary
Join us as a Procurement Responsible Sourcing Manager within Nestrade to lead our Responsible Sourcing strategy for Procurement. Are you energized by developing new pathways, building capability, connecting with a wide variety of stakeholders, and dealing with ambiguity, whilst being at the forefront of responsible sourcing & human rights due diligence with our supply base?
Then this is the role for you to start creating impact in 2026 for People, Planet, and Business. Reporting to the Procurement Sustainability Lead, you’ll ensure alignment with group strategies, working closely with Procurement Managers, Corporate ESG, and our Market Procurement teams. You’ll deliver on responsible sourcing to drive our sustainability and compliance targets. The Responsible Sourcing Manager position offers the selected candidate a fantastic opportunity to help shape our Responsible Sourcing trajectory at Nestrade across Procurement & our three Hubs.

A day in the life of a Procurement Responsible Sourcing Manager
- Set the strategy on Responsible Sourcing for Procurement, ensuring alignment with group and zone objectives.
- Drive improvement in Tier 1 Supplier Audit processes in Procurement (SMETA), ensuring robust compliance and risk mitigation.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in responsible sourcing across the supplier base.
- Address gaps and drive continuous improvement in responsible sourcing practices.
- Connect externally with industry peers, organizations, and forums to collaboratively tackle responsible sourcing challenges.
- Collaborate with our Sustainability Acceleration Team members to close key gaps.
- Partner with Corporate & Procurement Senior Stakeholders to define efficient ways of working and processes for effective oversight of responsible sourcing.
- Act as the first escalation point for responsible sourcing issues to Procurement Stakeholders & Procurement Leadership Team.
- Ensure project progress and milestones with suppliers through different KPIs (e.g. Audit completion rates, Corrective Action Plan closure) and optimize processes & reporting (e.g. through AI/ PowerBIs).
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles & Standards.
What makes you successful:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain, Environmental Sciences).
- Well established and proven experience in a global role ideally related to Procurement/Responsible Sourcing/Sustainability.
- Experience in responsible sourcing and sustainability is a strong plus.
- Ability to navigate a complex matrix of different stakeholders at local and corporate levels.
- Affinity with relevant standards and protocols related to Responsible Sourcing (e.g. SMETA, CSDDD).
- Ability to work in an international, complex, ambiguous environment.
- At ease with different tools (ServiceNow, Excel, AI, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- Initiative and capability to deal with ambiguity. Proven experience of setting strategy, building processes, and ways of working from scratch.
- Communication skills towards external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and results-focused mindset.
- Fluent in English; another language will be an asset.
