Position Summary
The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Procurement Managers in managing the commercial and sourcing activity for Packaging used by Nestlé worldwide.
Reporting directly to the Global Category Lead, the successful candidate will support the definition and the implementation for the category strategy on a regional level and strongly contribute on delivering the zone’s sustainability objectives.

A day in the life of a Procurement Specialist for Packaging:
• Support Procurement Managers in tactical/operational activities (contract creation, price requests, cost model development & implementation, project follow-up) and in Business Partnering with markets.
• Actively participate in European regional tenders for the Packaging Category.
• Support the Regional Procurement Managers in organizing and defining the negotiation strategy with global suppliers.
• Develop effective communication skills by maintaining both internal and external stakeholders informed of the progress related to the different tenders.
• Support in automatizing procurement tools in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.
What makes you successful:
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
- Initial professional experience in an analytical role within Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Ability to thrive in an international, dynamic, and complex environment, collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and comfortable working with SAP.
- Proficient in English, knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
