POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure that finished goods are available to meet customer demand, at the right stock location and with high freshness, while minimizing cost. Serve as guardian of the DSP process in Osem USA and ensure alignment across categories with support from Sales, Marketing, and Demand Planning. Contribute to strategic (3+ years) and tactical (18–20 months) business planning through Monthly Business Planning and Dynamic Planning processes.
 
 
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning:
  • Manage end-to-end supply planning for short shelf-life finished goods with 7–12 months total shelf life, sourced from Nestlé facilities and co-manufacturers, including requirements calculation, deployment planning, purchase forecasts, and order creation in SAP.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Plan and optimize mixed-container and transportation load utilization.
  • Generate demand plans and replenishment orders for the planning horizon.
  • Analyze planning exceptions, inventory levels, and business priorities and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Drive product change projects and support speed-to-market, quality, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead planning meetings with Osem Israel, co-manufacturers, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams.
Forecasting:
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts for assigned product categories.
  • Use historical sales, customer trends, promotional activities, market insights, and business assumptions to build forecasts.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and forecast bias and implement corrective actions.
  • Create short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts to support supply, inventory, procurement, and financial planning.
  • Evaluate the impact of new product launches, discontinuations, and business changes on future demand.
KPIs:
  • Customer Service (Fill Rate)
  • Out of Stock (OOS) / Lost Sales
  • Forecast Accuracy (%)
  • Donation and write-off value related to short-dated or expired inventory
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree or Engineering degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years experience in Supply Chain Demand or Supply Planning - must.
  • Fluent English- must.
  • Computer skills including advanced use of Excel.
  • Good SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Food industry experience is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Results focused.
  • Proactive and collaborative.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Independent decision making.
The approximate pay range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 base salary. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
