Position Summary

Your Opportunity

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the Pet Care Advice Centre to share your knowledge and passion for the care and well-being of New Zealand pets. Joining a dedicated team of pet lovers you will provide the highest level of information and advice to consumers in relation to pet healthcare & nutrition, pet behaviour and training as well as Purina's products. Your consumer touch points will include social media, mail, email,phone calls and the odd virtual calls.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Purina’s Pet Care products and all aspects of pet care.
Providing advice and information in response to customer queries via phone, email, and mail
Social media monitoring through our monitoring system and responding in a timely manner
Provide Pet Care advice to the wider business and contribute to marketing material such as advisory columns
Managing consumer complaints, resolve product, promotion and service related queries and turning these moments of truth into positive brand experiences.
Accurately recording details of consumer contacts and complaints in our CRM database
Various administrative tasks including monthly reporting to the wider business, surveys, and ordering stock
Managing and processing food orders for animal shelters
Being a point of contact for after-hours escalation calls
 

What Will Make You Successful?

Ideally you will be a qualified Vet Nurse or have a similar qualification. You will be a passionate, motivated person with outstanding communication skills, with high attention to detail. Previous experience in social media monitoring and community engagement is not essential, but beneficial, as well as a good understanding of consumer engagement platforms. You will have a natural ability to empathise with concerned consumers, remain calm under pressure and take ownership of solving consumer queries to maintain and drive loyalty. Qualifications or experience within the pet industry will be highly regarded.
