The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Nestlé New Zealand for an Account Executive to support our Customer Team in implementation of the Category business plan with Foodstuffs North Island.
Based in Auckland, this position will involve supporting the customer strategy and flawless execution of the plan through key initiatives aimed at driving profitable growth with our customers.
This role offers you the chance to enhance your sales skills within the New Zealand sales team.
A day in the Life…
As an Account Executive you will:
• Support implementation of the business plan, ensuring adherence to compliance.
• Support the Customer Business Manager by analysing Category, Customer, and Nestlé performance, as well as gathering insights on customer strategies and competitors.
• Oversee the submission of new product information and promotions through customer portals.
• Assist in the ongoing evaluation of the promotional plan to optimize effectiveness and ensure alignment with financial targets.
• Actively manage Trade Spend through Nestlé's internal systems to maximize resource allocation.
• Conduct monthly promotional forecasting to support strategic planning.
• Cultivate strong internal and external relationships
What will make you successful:
• 1-2 years of experience in Sales (or marketing) is preferred
• Strong analytical skills.
• A keen attention to detail.
• Bias for action, able to solve problems, multi-task and focussed on delivering results.
• Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs is essential.
