We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and driven person to join the business as a Customer Business Manager within the Nestlé Food & Beverages team. This a great opportunity to work with market leading brands and teams. You will be responsible for managing part of our Food & Beverages portfolio across Woolworths New Zealand and FreshChoice supermarkets.
 


 
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF... 

 

Reporting to the Head of Customer, you will work closely with the Woolworths team and will manage a select portfolio of some of our most exciting key brands. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our fantastic customer relationships while delivering the strong levels of growth in volume, value and share that we and our customers have come to expect over recent times.

 

In this role, key responsibilities include:

 

•    Develop a Customer Centric relationship with all parts of the Woolworths and FreshChoice businesses including commercial and operations teams, as well as Cartology and Quantium
•    Create and execute the annual plan based on business priorities 
•    Analyse Circana and Quantium data and report results against your portfolio priorities 
•    Engage with the Nestlé operations team (Field Sales and Territory Managers) through cycle activity and action feedback/requests
•    Accurately manage promotions, forecasts and trade spend to deliver monthly, quarterly and annual targets
•    360 feedback to applicable commercial team members, including Brand Managers and Category Development Managers to ensure market activities are celebrated or modified as required
 


 
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales within the FMCG industry
•    Previous experience in a similar Key Account Manager role, specifically working with Woolworths NZ, is highly desirable.  
•    Commercial acumen and a history of building successful relationships with your customers and stakeholders. 
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills 
•    Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, Retail scan, and loyalty data and PowerBI  
•    Organisational skills and the ability to balance priorities is key. 
•    A proactive and solution focused mindset and the courage and creativity to push the boundaries to achieve desired outcomes for the business and the customer.  
•    An analytical mindset as you deep dive into performance indicators and drive improvements in business processes and results 
•    Your conviction will set you apart as will your passion for sales and resilience to work within a fast-paced agile environment.
