As a Customer Business Manager, your role, as a senior leader in our sales team, will be to achieve the Foodstuffs North Island customer strategy through the development and execution of customer plans and collaborative partnerships. You will be responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving our customer strategies in achieving our business priorities. As well as coaching and developing a key account manager.
A day in the life of…
Reporting into the Head of Grocery Sales, this role is exposed to iconic, historic and significant pet brands. These brands are important to our customers and our consumers alike – and as a result we are seeking a candidate with proven senior sales experience dealing with major customers, in particular FSNI, and line management experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Development of customer strategies and metrics
• Define, develop and execute joint business plans with key customers within Foodstuffs North Island
• Deliver customer sales targets and initiatives including trade/customer/shopper marketing
• Negotiate category review with FSNI to deliver NPP objectives on ranging, space and promotions
• Develop highly effective relationships with all key customers.
• Develop promotional plans to meet Marketing plan objectives and customer needs
• Delivery of accurate forecasting of categories
• Management and development of direct report
• Provide full support and flow of information to the Field Team
• Actively manage trade spend
• Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders at Food Stuffs North Island
What will make you successful…
• This role will suit someone with a minimum of 3-5 years senior sales experience.
• Working across multiple functions, you will thrive in a highly competitive commercial environment and possesses well developed planning and analytical skills as well as a passion to win.
• Strong financial acumen and a degree in Business, Marketing or related field is key, as is your knowledge of grocery and mass channels.
