Position Summary 
We’re searching for a passionate, enthusiastic, and intuitive Customer Business Manager to achieve the Foodstuffs North Island customer strategy through the development and execution of customer plans and collaborative partnerships. 
You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving our customer strategies and achieving our business priorities. You will also have responsibility for two direct reports with ultimate responsibility of delivery of key metrics for all Foodstuffs banners. We’re at a very exciting time with Foodstuffs North Island as we enter the category review process.

 

A day in the life…
•    Develop and execute joint business plans with FSNI in line with business requirements and customer vision
•    Achieve customer sales targets and initiatives, including trade/customer/shopper marketing
•    Lead customer range/business reviews and engage internal stakeholders to develop and execute customer plans
•    Achieve ranging, distribution, and shelf management objectives as per category plan
•    Proactively manage the customer contribution statement and optimize trade investment
•    Develop effective relationships with key customers and facilitate contact/relationships with internal cross-functional departments
•    Deliver accurate forecasting (sales and spend) to feed into monthly business planning process
•    Coach, lead and develop one direct report.

 

What will make you successful?
•    Degree qualified in business, marketing, or related field. 
•    Minimum 3 years of senior sales experience dealing with major grocery customers
•    Experience with Foodstuffs North Island CPT process preferable
•    Minimum 2-3 years People Management Experience
•    Experience in delivery of company targets
•    Knowledge of grocery and mass channels
•    Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
•    Proficiency in PC literacy and ability to analyze sales information
•    Exceptional presentation skills and ability to tailor bespoke category stories
•    Setting direction for promotional programs, range management, customer marketing, and sales planning
•    Experience in Developing NPD launch plans 
•    Ensure all key stakeholders are aligned, engaged, and understand the customer strategy
