Position Summary:
The Customer Claims Executive is responsible for timely and accurate reconciliations of claims and open accruals in accordance with Nestlé's Claims Policy. This role involves maintaining customer-specific annual plans, ensuring timely reconciliations of claims and open accruals, and driving the resolution of disputed claims. This role involves maintaining communication with multiple stakeholders to understand the status of the account and identify possible trade spend gaps and opportunities, reviewing customer-specific annual plans, and driving the resolution of any discrepancies.

A day in the life:
Joining our Sales Finance team as a Customer Claims Executive you will be involved with a portfolio of commercial activities and learn what sits behind buying, for example, a Kit Kat from your local store. This exciting opportunity will provide the commercial exposure you need to succeed in a long-term career in finance, sales or supply chain. Reporting to the Sales Finance Lead you will have close collaboration with sales and finance stakeholders.
- Reconciliation of claims with open accruals.
- Monitoring Trade Spend to be able to identify reasons of deviation and drive resolution.
- Monitoring the status of the account across the activities linked to it, deductions, ad hoc payments and pricing claims
- Supporting Key Account Managers with Trade Spend analysis and requests.
- Customer reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Provide training on systems to new users as required.
What will make you successful:
- Degree in Business (Accounting / Finance) or similar (desirable).
- Experience with building and using PowerBi dashboards Knowledge of the interrelationship of key functions (Field Sales, Category and Marketing).
- Exposure and understanding of various commercial areas, including types of promotional activity, customer/retailer dimensions, and category dynamics.
- Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry experience (desirable).
- Good communicator with attention to detail
- Effective Business Planning, strategy and stakeholder alignment.
