Position Summary

To manage the Demand Plan of the assigned area of the business by improving the quality and reliability of the Consensus Demand Plan, through projection of the most insight rich estimate of customer demand which is aligned internally and collaborated externally. Primary Point of Contact embedded in the Business Unit for Demand & Supply Planning.
A day in the life
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) and improve bias within acceptable ranges.
- Analyze and prioritize demand events, incorporating customer, consumer, and competitor insights into the demand plan.
- Participate in Market Business Strategy (MBS), Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP), Monthly Business Planning (MBP), Dynamic Forecast (DF), and Annual Volume Commitment (AVC) processes.
- Communicate key information to Senior Management, highlighting gaps and ensuring realistic demand plans using statistical models.
- Utilize Demand Planning systems for exception-based management and foster collaboration across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance.
- Share best practices with other Demand Planners and ensure stable demand planning at the correct aggregation level.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and time savings in Demand Planning.
- Take swift action to address deviations from the Demand Plan and communicate these actions to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the Nestlé Idea to Launch (I2L) processes.
What will make you successful
- 2+ years in demand planning or related commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain)
- Experience in LEAN environments and continuous improvement practices
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, supply chain processes, and business planning frameworks
- Proficiency in SAP APO or similar planning systems
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
