Market Distribution Planner

Position Summary

 

 

Nestlé is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Market Distribution Planner to manage the end‑to‑end distribution of finished goods across its network. In this role, you will ensure the right products are delivered to the right location at the right time, balancing customer service, inventory levels, cost optimisation, and product freshness. [

You will play a key role in identifying and mitigating supply risks within a 12–20 week horizon, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of supply chain operations

 

 

A day in the life

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Review and update distribution plans across primary and secondary distribution centres to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor stock levels and take proactive action to mitigate low or out-of-stock risks.
  • Lead or contribute to operational forums (e.g., daily/weekly supply reviews) to manage supply issues and align stakeholders.
  • Analyse supply outlooks for the next 12 weeks, highlighting risks, trade-offs, and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planners and Logistics teams to improve forecast accuracy and optimise inventory.
  • Manage execution from order creation through to delivery, ensuring service levels are achieved.
  • Support event planning (e.g., promotions, launches) to ensure supply readiness. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing waste and improving stock freshness.

  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain, inventory management, and planning systems (ERP/advanced planning tools).
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in planning and execution.
  • Collaborative, resilient, and adaptable, thriving in a fast‑paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • We are seeking candidates with 4–6 years of experience in supply chain, distribution planning, or inventory management who can thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
