We have an exciting opportunity to join the Nestlé Infant Nutrition team as a Nutrition Advisor based in Auckland, New Zealand on a 12-month contract. Your role includes actively building relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in New Zealand and providing factual & scientific information to those HCPs about our products (S-26 brand) and infant feeding. Our goal is to be the trusted and recognised leader in early life nutrition.
TRAVEL
You will be responsible for managing the portfolio throughout New Zealand. Due to the nature of this role, it is important that you are comfortable spending time on the road with regular travel and also communicating with HCPs through digital channels.
Please note that to visit your customers, you must have a current unrestricted driver’s license.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...
Reporting directly to our Medical Commercial Excellence Manager who resides in Australia, in this role, you are the subject matter expert for a range of paediatric HCPs within the community and hospital channels taking responsibility for:
- High level of autonomy, independently managing a database of HCPs in New Zealand to achieve and exceed goals in challenging market environments.
- Identify, engage and manage relationships with key HCPs using various engagement channels.
- Be a trusted source of factual and scientific information on scientific concepts, new developments in infant nutrition, the superiority of our products in terms of nutrition, quality and value and building knowledge and the image of our products.
- Be an expert in the infant nutrition category and compliance, as a true brand ambassador.
- Manage hospital accounts throughout New Zealand and ensure ranging of our products.
- Organise and attend HCP education events and conferences on paedatric topics.
- Your ability to work autonomously and your trustworthiness will be key to building and maintaining long-lasting business relationships with HCPs.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition/Dietetics or Health Sciences
- Good knowledge in paediatric nutrition
- Advanced practical nutritional skills and experience in detailing nutrition/pharmaceutical products desirable
- Registered NZ Dietitian desirable
- Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Enthusiasm and passion for our products and dedication to building long-lasting business relationships
- Sales or business development experience advantageous
- Valid unrestricted driver's license required.
