Join us in New Zealand as a Shopper Activation Manager and take the lead in shaping our category, brand, and point-of-purchase solutions. In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative strategies that align with our objectives, with a keen focus on enhancing shopper experience.

A day in the Life…

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Shopper Activation initiatives, overseeing campaigns from ideation to execution.  
  • Drive the creation of shopper strategies based on channel and category insights to enhance overall business performance.
  • Oversee & lead the development and execution of category, shopper, and brand activations, including Go-To-Market for NPD launches across all channels.
  • Collaborate with both internal partners (Sales & Marketing) and external customers to develop optimal customer category shopper initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and execution of communication plans & strategies.
  • Manage agency partnerships effectively, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with objectives.  
  • Support in financial management for effective planning including creating and managing campaign budgets, tracking expenses and reporting.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and innovations, incorporating learnings into post-campaign reports and future planning.  

 

What will make you successful: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or marketing.
  • Experience in Sales, Category, or Shopper Management (5+ years).
  • Proven ability to influence and operate across multiple teams and departments.
  • Experience working across various sales channels, including Grocery, Pet Specialty, and New Business.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on Activation projects.
  • Experience in implementing communication strategies and programs.
