An exciting new opportunity exists for a Specialty Channel New Business and Sponsorship Manager to join our Purina Specialty Team.  This unique role offers plenty of exposure to driving acquisitions of new users through our non-grocery channels, within a leading global FMCG. Not to mention a passionate, collaborative team and a pet-friendly office!
 
Your Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of Specialty, you will drive acquisition of new users into Purina Specialty Channel through the endorsement of key professional advocates, major sponsorships and new brand launches
 
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Driving the strategic direction of the Pet Professional Network
• Project management of the expansion of our Professional Network ecommerce platform (P4P)
• Scope and drive new brand opportunities within the Specialist channel
• Manage and drive the partnership of key sponsorships within the specialist channel

 

About You
Passionate about pets, you will be degree qualified with a solid background in project management and / or business development with at least 2 years of experience in marketing or sales and have had people management experience. You will have successfully delivered on KPIs throughout your career and value collaborative and developmental ways of working with team members. A strong commercial acumen and effective communication skills is essential. Have a strong understanding of all sales functions i.e. MDO, Customer & Field. A strategic mind-set, innovative approach and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders both at a local and regional level will see you succeed in this role. Having some e-commerce experience is an advantage but not essential.
