At Nestlé Purina PetCare we are proud to be at the leading edge in excellent pet nutrition. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven sales super star to join the business as a Territory Manager to manage our South Auckland Waikato South region.
 
Armed with 2-3 years of sales experience, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll enjoy growing and maintaining existing relationships to actively promote our range of Purina PetCare products to some of the largest grocery chains (retail) and speciality channel (rural).
 
You’ll translate your passion for pets to help raise the profile of our range of nutritional products, so having some experience with pets and their nutrition will be beneficial to this role.
 
Your role will require you to:

• Provide best in class customer engagement and service levels (retail and rural)
• Create and sustain customer sales at an optimum level through distribution, placement and display
• Growth and ownership of territory distribution and sales targets
• Planning and execution of aligned Pet Category focused strategies
• Promote pet health and nutrition information
• Manage end to end territory activities, including administration tasks
• Travel within and outside of territory – Full NZ Driver License required.

This is a rewarding role for someone who can juggle multiple responsibilities within a busy portfolio ranging from planning, sales to administrative activities. You’ll also be tech savvy; in other words proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
 
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll be working autonomously with support from a wider team. You’ll therefore need to be a self-starter, outgoing, driven and happy to work remotely.
