We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join our high performing B2C Sales team, this role is based in Christchurch and your territory spans across the South Island.  

 

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Territory Sales Manager who …  

 

Will independently be accountable for and manage a portfolio of stores covering the full South Island of New Zealand. You will be an ambassador for Nespresso and will successfully maintain strong relationships with our retail partners, creating a partnership between trade, machine partners and Nespresso. This position will allow you to work with a high degree of autonomy on your day-to-day schedule, whilst also enjoying the support of a strong team network. The ideal candidate will have previous territory field sales or merchandising experience. Experience with premium goods and the electrical trade market within NZ will be highly regarded. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Driving machine sell out and maintaining commercially set business objectives 
  • Negotiating and working with retail partners on point of sale & merchandising opportunities 
  • Educating key contacts and maximising product knowledge in stores 
  • Working on a day-to-day operational level with our external demonstration agency partners to manage effective trade demos in trade 
  • Organising training sessions with in-store staff and product demonstrators both in-store and offsite. 
  • Facilitating and managing consumer shows and tasting events in your region
