We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory HR Head to oversee all human resources functions within our manufacturing facility. The Factory HR Head will be responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Additionally, the Factory HR Head will play a crucial role in negotiating and closing long-term settlements with unions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, labor relations, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of the factory.
  2. Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates.
  3. Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  4. Develop and implement effective performance management systems to drive employee productivity and engagement.
  5. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  7. Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans.
  8. Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management and labor relations.
  10. Negotiate and close long-term settlements with unions, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
  11. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee satisfaction.
  12. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  13. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  14. Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to monitor and improve HR performance.
  15. Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives. 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  3. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  4. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, unions, and management. 
  7. Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating and closing long-term settlements with unions.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  10. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
