• Location: Nestlé Purina Italy Plant, (Portogruaro Factory - Venezia)
• Full time, permanent contract
• Master degree in Engineering, possibly in Environmental studies
• At least 2 years experience in Environmental and Sustainability Projects Management, possibly in a factory
• Fluent Italian and English

Position Summary

In this role you will support the factory organization in managing the environmental and sustainability requirements of the factory and the implementation of new capital investment projects with impact on environment and sustainability with focus on energy consumption and reduction of carbon footprint of the factory. The position will also cover the management of a new project for the installation in the factory of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant.

A day in the life of Environmental & Sustainability Project Engineer - Waste Water Treatment

• Analysis of main energy consumptions of the factory and identification of root causes of potential deviation.
• Supporting the leadership team for the energy awareness increasing at factory level.
• Manage the requirements of the Environmental Authorizations in Place assuring the full compliance of the legal requirements.
• Interact with authorities to manage new permit or new request of substantial and non- substantial changes to the existing authorization.
• Lead the project team in charge of the implementation of a new project for wastewater management. Including authorities involved, consultant and suppliers. Coordinate the plan of the installations and factory organization.
• Working closely to the engineering team to support the implementation of the new innovation and renovation project taking care all the elements related the environment and the energy impact.
• Monitoring Energy KPIs and share the results at factory and market level.

What will make you successful

• Master degree in Engineering, possibly in Environmental studies
• At least 2 years experience in Environmental and Sustainability Projects Management, possibly in a factory
• Positive forward-looking mindset, problem solving attitude and team spirit
• Approaches challenges with a data-driven and solution-orientation mindset
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English and Italian 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
