POSITION SNAPSHOT
•    Location: Portogruaro Factory (VE), Nestlé Purina
•    Engineering degree (Electrical & Automation, Mechanical, Industrial)
•    At least 1 year spent as Project Engineer in FMCG companies (preferred)
•    Temporary Contract (1 year)
•    Fluent in Italian and English
 
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, within the defined scope of responsibility or specialisation. You will also ensure that for the area they are in charge of, the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to. As a Project Engineer you will manage projects with different scopes and specialities. 
 
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT ENGINEER
•    Developing the investment project charter and ensuring that it is strictly followed throughout the project
•    Ensuring safety by design for workers and operators, during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant
•    Ensuring that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the specifications and the characteristics related to the project scope.
 
During the start-up phase of the project:
•    Supporting the Operations and Start-Up Leader and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation
•    Contributing to and supporting the preparation and distribution of the engineering project documentation, including the engineering part of the project final report 
•    Promoting development of environmental-friendly and sustainable solutions 
 
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
•    Engineering degree (Electrical & Automation, Mechanical, Industrial)
•    At least 1 year spent as Project Engineer in FMCG companies (preferred)
•    Show strong adaptation and learning agility
•    Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
•    Ability to work and communicate with diverse people (from shopfloor worker to factory management to equipment vendors)
•    Knowledge of AutoCAD
•    Fluent in English and Italian
