Position Snapshot 

  • Nestlé Purina Italy, Portogruaro Plant (VE)
  • Permanent and full-time role

  • University Degree in Engineering
  • Experience: At least 5 years of total experience, including at least 1 experience in project management and at least 1 experience with a strong technical background (e.g., Project Engineer)
  • You will hold the same level of authority as a team leader/Pillar leader
  • Reporting line to the Project Manager
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Italian language would be preferred. 
  • Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, Impiegato, 1° Level, Gross Annual Base Salary €50.000,00 + 7% annual bonus based on overall company performance. 

 

Position Summary
The Project Planning Leader coordinates and oversees project planning activities, ensuring alignment with the project's objectives. In charge of creating and maintaining the project Masterplan, he/she will also manage and report relevant KPIs to management team. 
As part of the project leadership team, the ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to facilitate and lead discussions to remove obstacles and drive the project forward. This role requires a proactive approach to optimize the planning process and follow best practices set up by the organization.

 

A day in the life of a Project Planning Leader:

  • Coordination of Project Team: Align the project team with the project's objectives, ensuring all members are working effectively towards common goals.
  • Support, Facilitate, and Lead: Remove obstacles and drive the project forward by supporting and facilitating problem-solving discussions.
  • Creation and Maintenance of Project Masterplan: Develop, enforce and maintain the project's masterplan, presenting it in relevant forums to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Generate, Report, and Follow-Up on Planning KPIs: Monitor and report on project progress through key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the project stays on track.
  • Challenge and Guide Project Team: Optimize the planning process and ensure adherence to best practices by challenging and guiding the project team.

 

What will make you successful?

  • Project Management Framework: Familiarity with our project management framework is mandatory (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Project tool; familiarity with MS Teams new functionalities for planning management is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Effective social skills, adaptability, and the ability to use different management approaches. Active listening and a leadership profile are essential.
  • Certifications: PMI PMP certification is a plus.
