We are currently looking to hire a Team Captain for the East and Southern Africa region to join our team in Potchefstroom, North West.

Position Summary

To coordinate and operate a specific line resource in order to ensure that each part of the resource is accurately staffed and Line specific support is given from supporting departments smoothly. 

A day in the life of...

• Ensure that Bulk and finished products are consistently manufactured at the correct nominal speed and quality (OPRPs, GMP and Net Mass) standards are followed by each operator
• Effectively coordinate the team on shift in the department though team member allocation and arrangement of people if any employee is absent to achieve production plan and to identify and achieve performance objectives
• Ensure exchange of information (on Shift Review) for alignment with the objectives in the short term with by driving that problems are all identified and solved through tagging peers shift
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the local laws striving for Zero accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviors per machine through Risk prediction
• Facilitate following of the escalation procedure for support which is not in the factory after hours
• Ensure Gembas are presented per shift with enough detail for decision making for LLTs if issue is escalated
• Coach at a level 5 in Tagging and OPLs for other operators
• Communicate shiftily performance to End to End Manager through SAM reports
• Coordination of shift labour planning per shift
• Drive Work Group activities per shift for NCE advance practices

Matric and or NQF4 and Assessment 2-3 years as line operator
